Executive Staff Training, Management and Leadership Development.

Overview

Our Human Resources Institute provides staff training and management development programmes which are aimed at improving performance and productivity at the workplace.

The goal is to develop and help staff and managers become better and more effective in their work and deal with performance and productivity short comings including:
• Changing the mind-set of the employees
• problems of staff motivation and productivity,
• lack of understanding of organizational policies, principles and procedures,
• lack of organizational focus, team spirit and collective responsibilities
• Inability to manage organizational resources (human, materials, financial etc)
• Complication in decisions making and failure to implement decision
• inadequate expertise and experience of staff,
The training also provides for lifelong learning experience in the development of employees, and business managers.

Employee and Workforce Enhancement Programmes

We also offer short courses targeted at staff. These are designed to enhance specific skills to improve organizational capabilities. Examples include; Leadership and team development, Human resources management, Financial management, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, IT and information management, Sustainable development, Communication and language skills, Management development programs for civil society and non-governmental organizations etc.

Management Development Programmes

The structure of the management development courses are based on (i) the different hierarchical positioning of managers within the organization (emerging/supervisory, middle or senior level); (ii) their roles and responsibilities and (iii) role expectations according to sectors or type of organization (Public, Private or Civil society). These variations highlight specialist developmental needs built into each program (Figure 1). Each segment of the cube defines specific skills and competences expected of managers including the needs of the individual employee, job requirements, the people in the organization, the organizational resources and all the structural arrangements of the organization as a whole, including culture, networking and related factors.
